The boys visit Lourdes in the intensive care unit

Today I'm thankful for...
Very close family with lots of hugs and kisses
Seeing my kids grow bigger and better daily
Knowing how to lead myself into a better emotional state
Having Lulu to share my live with
Hot days for swimming in the pool

Here's the foodtidings website that I've had a number of requests for... (thank you everyone that has brought us dinners. We have very much appreciated the not just the fabulous food, but also the thought that goes into caring for us)

Today is a day for family. I went to see Lourdes this morning at 7:30 AM. My concerns were unfounded as she had a good night. She was looking so good this morning, and I got to hold her for a couple of hours until I had to pull myself away to make it to the 9:30 mass. I left feeling that she would be coming home soon. After church service, Lulu wanted all the kids to be able to visit their sister at the NICU. So, we arrived around 11:00 AM, and after helping the boys scrub in (this was a little like going to Wild Island water park, but without the towels) we took turns taking them each into see their 2 month old sister. They were all very excited and loved talking to the little girl. Hamilton was especially cute when he got up a chair at the side of Lourdes bassinet and as he said "Be good, be good" as he patted her back assertively. (she was smiling as Hamilton shook her with his pats). The other two boys, Carter and Thomas, showered her with kisses and told her cute little stories about what they were going to do with you when she gets home. I'm not sure that I've been prouder of my kids then at this moment? Lulu stayed to bottle feed Lourdes (she gets a bottle once each shift), and I will return at 7:30 PM for her night feeding. I was looking forward the day with just the boys, and really looking forward to the night feeding with Lourdes.
